Spoolarc Low Alloy Wires
All Spoolarc Mig wires are cleaned after the final drawing process and then treated with a proprietary process to ensure good feedability, arc stability and low weld deposit hydrogen. Excellent arc characteristics provide precise control of the welding process with better current transfer for longer contact tip life.
As part of the Elite series, Spoolarc 120 is designed for welding high strength quenched and tempered steels.
As part of the Elite series, Spoolarc 140 is a high strength wire designed to weld HY-130 steels.
As part of the Elite series, Spoolarc 75 is a copper-coated 1% nickel solid wire for carbon steel and low alloy welding applications using either the MIG/Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) or Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) processes. Spoolarc 75 produces a deposit that meets the weathering requirements of AWS D1.1 and D1.5 and is designed to weld weathering steels and/or where improved low temperature impact toughness is specified.
As part of the Elite series, Spoolarc 83 contains 0.5% Mo to provide higher deposit strength in both the as welded and stress relieved conditions.
As part of the Elite series, Spoolarc 95 is Military grade high strength wire used to weld HY-80 steels.
