Personal safety is a key element in achieving the success and productivity you want. That’s why Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should always be as integral a part of welding as your wire, shielding gas, torch and machine. Next time you set up to weld, make sure you have each of the following:
- Closed-toed work shoes (no open-toed shoes or sneakers)
- A flame-retardant or 100% Cotton shirt or jacket
- Proper eye protection
- Welding gloves (to protect yourself from heat and sparks)
- A well-ventilated work area
