Florence, S.C. – Today at the FABTECH 2017 Expo in Chicago, Victor®, an ESAB brand, previewed the EDGE™ 2.0 ESS32 PFH800 pressure/flow hybrid regulator designed for three common HVAC applications: brazing, purging and pressure testing. Traditionally, a regulator would either be a flow regulation device or a pressure delivery regulation device. With its hybrid design, the EDGE™ 2.0 ESS32 PFH800 combines flow and pressure regulation functions in a single device. The new regulator provides adjustability between:
1. 3 – 6 CFH for using nitrogen as a backing gas when brazing
2. 20 – 50 CFH for nitrogen purge applications
3. 200 – 800 psi to conduct pressure tests
Tweco® Updates Velocity™ MIG Consumables Design; Shielding Gas Nozzle Now Screws Directly To Threaded Conductor Tube
Florence, S.C. – Tweco®, an ESAB brand, has simplified and improved the front-end consumables for its Spray Master™ and Tweco Classic Number Series MIG guns featuring Velocity™ MIG welding consumables. The new nozzle features a heavy-duty, high-temperature resin and a molded insert that enables the nozzle to screw directly onto threads machined on the conductor tube. In addition to better securing the nozzle, the new design reduces the operating temperature of the nozzle and conductor tube. To reduce the effect of reflective heat, the conductor tube features a high-temperature silicone tube covering. The sleeve also protects the jacket from impacts and helps extend the conductor tube life.
