ESAB And CWA Offer MIG Gun Webinar – 2-Hour Event Covers Gun Selection, Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting And Retrofit
Florence, SC – As part of the CWA (Canadian Welding Association) Webinar Series, ESAB will offer a two-hour webinar titled, “MIG Gun Selection, Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting & Retrofit - A practical guide to lower operating cost and maximize gun life, welding uptime and operator appeal.”
The webinar runs from 1 – 3 p.m. EST on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Registration is required, and the webinar costs CAD $125 for CWA members and $199 for non-members. To register, visit cwa-acs.org/events. All proceeds from the event benefit CWA.

Florence, SC – For the sixth consecutive year, ESAB Welding & Cutting Products sponsored the Florence-Darlington Technical College Welding Sculpture Competition to support the school’s welding education program and student scholarship fund. The competition, held April 11, 2015 at the Francis Marion University Arts International Festival, saw 10 teams of professional welders and welding students from across the region compete to create welded sculptures from scrap metal to fit the theme of Nature. The artwork, ranging from a whimsical lily pad to an intricate shark, was auctioned off to raise $10,000 for welding scholarships at FDTC.
