FLORENCE,SC - ESAB Welding & Cutting Products is challenging customers to take the “ESAB Productivity Challenge.” With engineered solutions and products – including equipment and filler metals – ESAB is helping customers save time and money, increase their output and get better returns on their capacity investments. A prime example of an ESAB product engineered for productivity – Coreweld® C-6 – was “put to the test” at the American Welding Society (AWS) show in Detroit, April 8-10. The latest addition to ESAB’s line of E70C-6M metal cored wires, Coreweld® C-6 offers the highest deposition rate of a metal cored wire, for increased productivity, along with the high deposition efficiency of a solid MIG wire. By combining these qualities, Coreweld C-6 helps operators cut production costs, while achieving excellent weld results. At the AWS show, ESAB demonstrated the productivity gains that can be achieved, using Miggytracs (motor-operated, remote-controlled trolleys attached to MIG guns) to “race” Coreweld C-6 against E70S-6 solid wire. Knowing that high productivity is crucial for industries to remain
competitive, ESAB has developed a full line of metal-cored wires, including
mild steel and low allows, as well as 300 and 400 series stainless steel
metal cored wires. The latest addition to the line, Coreweld C-6 delivers
the high travel speeds that make it ideal for robotic, automatic and
hand-held welding in auto manufacturing, structural steel, heavy equipment
fabrication, rail car production and other similar applications. |
