FLORENCE,SC - ESAB Welding & Cutting Products offers a complete line of PowerCut™ Plasmarc™ cutting packages. These PowerCut™ packages offer exceptional cutting performance, both in cutting thickness and speed, with reduced operating costs. The machines feature a highly durable portable casing that can handle all types of environmental and workplace challenges. These economical machines require little maintenance and provide tremendous cutting value for the investment.

The rugged case features a streamlined shape to fit more easily through manholes and similar tight spaces. The weatherproof external shell is constructed from a very strong fiberglass composite that resists damage from striking, dropping, heat or cold. End caps are made from glass-reinforced nylon with a new handle design that protects the front and back panels from damage while facilitating two-man carrying. Internal electronics are suspended within the case
to absorb shock and prevent damage. These durable machines are ideal for use in equipment rental fleets.

The PowerCut™ family offers standard features for easy use including an automatic pilot arc start, trigger lock, and 40-amp nozzle for drag cutting. The PowerCut™ 875, 1250 and 1500 machines use ESAB’s new PT-32EH torch, a durable torch offering excellent cutting performance, ease of use and long-life consumables with up to twice the life of other electrodes.

The torch design, with an ergonomic handle that offers dual switch capability, combines the swirl baffle with the tip, so there are fewer parts to replace and no alignment errors from installing parts incorrectly. The PowerCut™ 650 comes with the new PT31XLPC. This low maintenance torch features a new quick-connect torch switch plug and new durable cable that prevents snagging.
The packages will work on auxiliary power from most welding engine drives and tolerate poor power lines, making them ideal for field work. The compact, portable design arrives fully assembled and ready to cut with torch parts in place, primary cord attached and filter/regulator installed for operator convenience.

The PowerCut™ 650 cuts 5/8 inch and severs 3/4 inch. Output is 30 adc @ 60% duty cycle or 40 adc @ 40% duty cycle. PowerCut™ 875 cuts 7/8 inch and severs 1-¼ inch. Output is 60 amps @ 60% duty cycle. PowerCut™ 1250 cuts 1-1/4 inch and severs 1-1/2 inch. Output is 70 amps @ 100% duty cycle. PowerCut™ 1500 cuts 1-1/2 inch and severs 1-3/4 inch. Output is 90 amps @ 60% duty cycle.
