ESAB Discontinues the HandyPlasma® 550 Manual Cutting Package

Mississauga , ON – ESAB Welding & Cutting Products has discontinued the manufacture and sale of their HandyPlasma 550 manual cutting package, effective Spring 2009. Phasing out the Handy Plasma 550 is a logical step in consolidating ESAB’s manual plasma product line to make room for new developments on the horizon while still offering value and selection. ESAB’s PowerCut® 650 is an ideal alternative for users cutting ½ in. offering greater flexibility with a cutting capacity of up to 5/8 in.
