All-Shield®
308L is a direct substitute for E308L covered electrodes or ER308L bare electrodes.
For general purpose
welding of chrome-nickel steels such as 304L and 308L found in chemical and paper
industries and oil refineries.
Also use on types 301, 302, 304, and 308 steels found in food processing equipment,
dairies, breweries and
distilleries. May be used for welding types 341 and 347 if service temperature
does not exceed 500°F (260°C).
For best results, use with 75% Argon,
25% CO2 shielding gas.
