Overlay Ni-Matrix®
Open arc wire with high ductility,
strength, and can be cut with oxy/fuel torch. Has excellent resistance to heavy
impact and compressive
loads. Ideal for manganese steel parts. Use to attach wear plates, blades, teeth,
and other parts
to heavy equipment. Also for mill hammers, crusher liners, dipper teeth and lips,
dragline buckets and
railroad frogs and switches. As welded 90 Rc B. Work-hardened 48
Rc. Available in 7/64" (2.8mm) x
60-lb. (27.22 kg) coils. Overlay
Ni-Matrix® CR Work-hardening,
austenitic, manganese steel, gasless flux-cored wire alloyed with chromium and
nickel to improve weld
deposit properties. It is designed for build-up and fabricating of manganese
ssteel. Deposits are very tough, and
work-harden rapidly in-service under high impact. All-position. DC Reverse Polarity.
Excellent weldability. Can be
flame cut. Use for build-up of crusher jaws, cones and roll shells, gyratory crusher
mantels, hammer mill hammers
and impact breaker bars. Can weld multi-pass without deslagging. For joining or
overlaying. Deposits are
non-machinable. As welded - 15-20 Rc. Work-hardened- 50-55 Rc. Available in .045"
(1.1mm), 1/16" (1.6mm), and
7/64" (2.8mm) x 25-lb (11.34 kg) spools. Overlay
Roll Matrix® For
heavy impact and compression open arc wire. Use on tractor pads, rollers, sprockets,
idlers, hammers, wobblers,
shafts, gear teeth, and other carbon steel parts that require build-up. Available
in 7/64" (2.8mm) x 60-lb. (27.22
kg) coils. Rc 25 to 30. Overlay
48 Open arc wire
with exceptionally good compressive strength and high hardness. Deposits may be
heat treated, are
forgeable, and can be cut with oxy/fuel torch. Can be used on carbon steel, low
alloy steel, and cast iron. For conveyor,
dragline and shovel buckets, lips, sides, scraper blades and dredge bucket parts.
Deposits do not check crack.
48 Rc hardness. Available in 7/64" (2.8mm) x 50-lb. (22.68 kg) coils.
