All-State® Wear Hard Electrode for Attachment and Build-up on Manganese and Low Alloy Steels AC or DC Reverse Polarity All Position General Characteristics All-State® Wear Hard Electrode is high in alloy content and is extremely deformation resistant and has 2-4 times greater wear resistance than work-hardened austenitic manganese steel. Typical Applications Deposits of Wear Hard when subjected to high impact and compressive loads, develops a surface hardness of 48-50 Rc and still retains a tough resilient, deformation-resistant mass under the work-hardened surface. Ideal for rebuilding and repairing equipment constructed of manganese steel, as well as for using on alligator type shear blades.
